Set high in Daylesford’s Wombat Hill precinct, Milk and Honey is a study in quiet elegance. A restrained palette of timber, linen and clay creates a grounded, textural calm, while generous picture windows frame leafy views and bring in soft, shifting light. The interiors are luminous and minimal, yet warm—designed to evoke stillness and clarity.

A short stroll from town, this is a space to retreat, reflect and reconnect with the beauty of simplicity and the comfort of natural materials.
What guests are saying about Milk & Honey:
Overall Rating 4.8/5
We have stayed at Milk and Honey before & I chose to come again because we knew the standard and the perfect location was just what we wanted. The interiors are absolutely gorgeous. The furniture, soft furnishings to bedding towels even the heated floor in the bathrooms. The location is ideal with a short walk to our favourite eateries, The Sunday Market & The Convent. We love the front Veranda with a glass of wine overlooking that stunning view and the back garden leads into the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens to another favourite cafe Wombat Hill Cafe. Milk & Honey would have to be one of the best if not the best holiday accom in Daylesford. We will be back a third time.

A remarkable gem of a property has been created to share with others. From the moment you pull up in the driveway, you are enveloped with a giant feeling of warmth and thoughtfulness to detail. Everything about the stay was phenomenal and the cleanliness was commendable. All of the little touches (décor, toiletries, amenities, food and beverage supplies, kitchen utensils etc) made it even more special. The spa and the view whilst sitting in the spa was an absolute highlight. The outdoor area was an extremely serene and relaxing place to spend the afternoon with a book. This has to be my favourite place to stay.

The Nook is perfectly located for the ‘walking’ lazy holiday. With easy access to Lake Daylesford (which itself is a lovely leisurely walk), as well as the Main Street with restaurants and cafes is perfect. Whilst you will require a car to visit other areas of the region this was the perfect, central location. The cottage itself has been renovated perfectly to ensure a couple can stay with all the amenities needed to cook for themselves and stay warm and cosy. Seriously, look no further than here. We will certainly be booking again
