If you’re looking for a peaceful change of pace, Trentham is quietly waiting.
It’s the kind of place where time slows down just enough. Tall gums line the streets, the bakery still sells sourdough warm from the oven, and the scent of eucalyptus lingers in the cool, fresh air.
Whether it’s the short walk to Trentham Falls, a morning spent at the farmers market, or simply curling up by the fire with a good book, there’s something about this place that encourages you to breathe a little deeper.
With its own personality there’s no pressure in Trentham to do much if you don’t want to, but if you’re curious, there’s good coffee, fine food producers and gentle walking tracks are all within easy reach of town. A tad further away you could dine at the Pig and Whistle, book a guided tour of Paul Bangay’s Stonefields garden or, pop over to Kyneton to see what’s happening there.
If Trentham’s been on your radar, or if you’ve simply been meaning to take a well earned pause for a while, now might be a good time to come up and stay.
