Macedon Regional Park is one of the regions hidden gems. It incorporates Mt Macedon and is the southern most part of the Great Dividing Range. It has many picnic grounds, walking tracks of varying length and scenic drives. There are even tea rooms.

The main picnic/walking ares are Camels Hump and Memorial Cross lookouts with outstanding views to Port Phillip Bay, the You Yangs and the Dandenong Ranges.

Sanatorium Lake, Days and McGregors Picnic Area offer great walking and cycling tracks with fire places and picnic tables. Harbison Picnic Area has gas barbecues, picnic shelters, picnic tables and toilets.

There is so much to see and do here for all types of outdoor people from the family friendly to those who want to get just a little bit of that lost in the bush feel.

Great all year round.
