Castlemaine Art Gallery & Historical Museum

Founded in 1913 and housed in a beautiful art deco building built in 1931, the Castlemaine Art Gallery and Historical Museum offers an interesting look into the early history of the region as well as a unique collection of Australian art.

The gallery has a program of exhibitions throughout the year that take on a contemporary feel, and is well worth a visit.
