Dating
back to the 1850's, the garden covers some six acres and features
over 250 mature trees, sweeping lawns and extensive hedging,
including Australia’s only Tapestry Hedge, as well as many rare
and unusual plants. The garden contains many National Estate
listed trees. This is a homestead garden on a grand scale, set
around an imposing mansion. Visitors can spend hours exploring
the gardens, while enjoying the wonderful autumn colours.
Light
refreshments are available on the croquet lawn.
Extensive
guided tours included in the $5.00 entry. Children free. No
dogs please.

Park is located 300m on the left hand side of the Midland Highway
as you leave Daylesford for Castlemaine.
