Deep Creek

Located before the Rocklyn Rose Nursery on the Midland Highway towards Ballarat, Deep Creek is the home of the pump house for Deep Spring Mineral Water. Picnic facilities, peaceful bush setting, mineral water. Steep walk for 5 minutes on bitumen road from car park.

Botanic Gardens at Wombat Hill, Daylesford

Picnic facilities, cafe, kiosk and toilets. Overlooking Daylesford, Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens were established in 1863 with the planting of two oak trees to commemorate the wedding of Prince Edward to Princess Alexandra. Nine hectares of gardens and lookout tower. Beautiful gardens all year round. Begonias on display in late February, early March. Picnic pavilion, Devonshire Tea and BBQ facilities.
